Many of you are already aware of the mountain of financial markets crimes committed by Anson Funds, but lesser known is the Fund’s cyber-crime spree, designed to protect the firm from having its wrongdoing exposed.

This website has been under relentless, high-intensity attacks directly sponsored by Anson Funds and those entities hired to silence us. Previously, we published a short note on this, detailing how Anson Funds has been attempting to recruit hackers on the dark web:

That was back in 2022, and now things have taken an even darker turn, with outside firms (and even Anson staff) working with hackers on various dark web forums to hack X.com, Protonmail, and also to game Google.

Moez Kassam has to try and take this site down as it is difficult for Anson to continue to run its criminal enterprise in the spotlight. Anson is much more effective working from the shadows and because of all the noise surrounding the fund, and Kassam is desperate to change the narrative and have people believe they are a serious activist hedge fund rather than a seedy short fund.

Anson’s aggressive moves against Match Group and its parent company are an attempt to try to legitimize the group in the eyes of the financial community following scandal after scandal. The desperate hope is that this will draw attention away from the fact Anson is rolling on everyone it has done business with in the past, especially the banks and brokers.

The Match Group board should be aware that Anson Funds play dirty. Anson will use private investigators to dig up dirt on each of you. Anson will have hackers try to gain access to your emails, phones, anything possibly containing damaging or compromising information on you. Be aware, and be prepared.

Hackers turn against Anson Funds

Anson has made a mistake, however, directly linked to Moez Kassam’s miscalculations. Moez is notoriously cheap when it comes to paying people for their work, and we have learned that he has failed to compensate a number of hackers for their efforts to take down this website. These disgruntled hackers are now seeking revenge, most notably by sending over a number of their posts and conversations and more valuable information on communications with Anson-linked thugs, as you will see shortly.

One of the hackers was also kind enough to let us know who Anson Funds hired to spearhead these hacking efforts, which we will reveal below.

Lets look at the first of 20 dark web forum communications:

HACKER RESPONDS TO THE POST:

Do not trust him, I bought a stresser server for a client who promised to refund the money for the service. He said that the money would be refunded when the task was completed, that was not the agreement. He should have paid the money immediately for me, because he lied online banking is currently not working for him.

Stiffed Hackers contact Marketfrauds

Now, this is where things get really interesting. Over the last few years we have been contacted by a number of hackers who took on jobs for Anson Funds but who were not paid for their efforts. Hackers are known for being vengeful, and they have plenty of cyber ammunition to carry out their vengeance. One of these individuals, possibly the one in the above post, contacted us with valuable information.

Moez Kassam’s first mistake (after failure to pay hackers) was sloppiness: During their communications one of the people working for Anson Funds who made a number of these various dark forum posts left his IP address unmasked, and was also sent a virus which enabled the hacker to access his email, revealing some very interesting details. Including the name of the individual aiding Anson’s cyber crimes:

Branko Kojic is one of these people working for Anson Funds. He is located in Serbia and connected to a law firm registered under his name that is inactive and in tax debt to the state.

We believe Mr. Kojic was hired by Moez Kassam to do Anson’s dirty work far from the shores of North America and beyond the reach of U.S. authorities, but any blowback, such as what they are seeing now, makes it very difficult to get Mr. Kojic’s cooperation. The main problem here is that Anson Funds is not versed in the Balkans, or among the cyber, investigative circles of Serbia. Kojic is a classic type of low-level PI who talks a much bigger game that he can deliver and does not himself understand the cyber world to the extent necessary here.

As you will see with a number of the coming posts the English is poor and we have been told by a source that the structure of the sentences are what a South Slav would write and then have it translated to English.

(We have more incriminating information that we are happy to share with authorities. Which we believe would help immensely with any prosecution.)

Hacking X.com

(This is a handle on Twitter that has been used by us in the past. X is a major website and this is a crime.)

Now Anson Funds have been unsuccessful in hacking Twitter – so they are trying the next best thing instead and that is Gaming Twitter. What they are doing is taking various keywords and creating fake profiles which contain both Anson and Funds. Look at the below:

These people have no followers and are not following anyone. They are designed to spam the search term for Anson Funds on X. See the example below.

The purpose of this is to push all posts that mention Anson Funds in a negative light down. This is not illegal activity but rather a shallow and desperate attempt to garner a positive reputation and remove from sight damaging posts about their business practices.

The best way to stop this is to continuously post about Anson Funds on X. Share with everyone and keep the evidence of their wrongdoing at the top of all search terms.

Protonmail hack

REPLY TO HACKER: We suspect that certain information is leaking from our company. There is a possibility that this email is connected to these malversations. Unfortunately, I cannot provide any further details about the situation at this time.
(Information leaking from their company – the language used is different here as well. This is an Anson Funds employee talking about hacking an email. This is a criminal offence.)

Example of the size and scale of the attacks:

On the 27^th March 2025 the site came under massive attack by Anson Funds. We are talking of a size and scale that would have taken down most large websites. But we were able to stay online thanks to a tip off from someone inside Anson Funds who warned us it was coming so we had time to prepare.

They were coming at us with:
– DDOS Attacks
– SQL Injection
– Phishing Brute Force
– XSS Attack

It got up to a peak of 40 million bots at any one time. These are massive resources they are using and the proof is below:

Here is a look at a huge attack we experienced on Sunday 7^th April. They probably thought our guard would be down. They would also like us to disappear whilst they continue their PR assault against Match Group.

Who else other than Anson Funds would attack the site with such intensity.

We estimate the above attack on Sunday would have cost from $150,000 to $200,000 as an attack of this scale would require at least 20 server scripts with each script costing from $7,000 to $10,000.
The main aim being to attack our database and gain access to the backend of the site.

But you will be pleased to hear that they can’t take us down. The best they can hope to do is slow the site for a few minutes. So yet more unitholders funds being wasted.
